Joey Keys
Chief Executive Officer, Southeast Missouri Food Bank
For the last five years, Keys has served as CEO of the Southeast Missouri Food Bank in Sikeston, Missouri. He and his team provide hunger relief to more than 80,000 neighbors each month across 16 counties in Southeast Missouri, a region with some of the highest rates of poverty and food insecurity in the state. The food bank operates direct-service programs, including Backpacks for Friday, which provides 1,100 students in 26 school districts with food for the weekend; Patient Pantries, which provide boxes of food to food-insecure patients upon discharge from area hospitals; and Veterans Healthy Food Program distributions for veterans. The food bank serves a network of 140 partner agencies across Southeast Missouri. Keys currently serves on Feeding America’s Policy, Engagement, and Advocacy Committee and has previously served on Feeding America’s Voter Engagement Committee and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee.
